Tree stress symptoms and signs

When you were out on your lawn, maybe you noticed something that was not normal? Being proactive is always better and more effective for treating any tree.

Post storm injured limbs or branches

Summertime browned and sunburnt looking leaves

Brown and spotted leaves post a rainy season

This is definitely a fungus if it appears after a wet season, usually there are treatments, but some strain of fungi are devastating and will require the removal of the tree.

After a drought small yellow and brown leaves

This is definitely drought stress, trees need water more than anything, and when they are starved of it, then the symptoms mentioned above arise. Often times these symptoms won’t appear for a few years. There are proactive measures you can take. When trees go through drought however, it can significantly slash the lifespan of the tree.
